Martin (Game of Thrones) and morphs into a multi-million dollar corporation in just a few short years. With the opening of its instantly successful exhibition, House of Eternal Return, the group sets its sights on new exhibits around the world. How does a team of ragtag millennial artists become one of the most compelling new startups of this generation, and what will they do next? Origin Story follows the seven eclectic founding members and hundreds of volunteers as they struggle with fracture, loss, success, and failure over a decade – while constantly redefining themselves and what art can really be. The film is an artistic explosion in and of itself, throwing down a kaleidoscope of color, sound, and music that brings this crazy, highly inspiring ride to life.

Installation Planning Party
Afterward the movie (starting at 6pm) we'll use inspiration from the documentary to start planning a maximalist art installation in the front room gallery of Cali Commons (also known as the Uncommon Gallery).

In art, maximalism is an aesthetic of excess and redundancy. More is more! Let's see how much stuff we can cram onto the walls of a 10x10 gallery space.

During this initial planning party, we'll throw out a ton of ideas, see what sticks, and make some plans! The actual building of the installation will come later.
